It's fashionable to think of Jesus as being some anarchist sort of proto-communist in the past, he says. The strongest form of corporatism you could imagine is Christianity and what Christ was trying to establish as his community,. But this in no way means that the individual is no longer an individual anymore than the hand is no longer a hand. Neither the communist aspect nor the hyper-individualist aspect are to be found anywhere in Christian history at all.
