The Second Benefit of Veiling Is It Increases Paternal Investment

A woman who dresses modestly or veils signals to her man consciously or subconsciously that she is not sleeping around and getting Impregnated by other men. This makes the man more likely to invest time and resources into those children. Paternal investment is one of the biggest indicators of a child's future well-being. The practice of veiling is part of a much broader human practice known as mate guarding without mate guarding you can't even have committed relationships in general.
