Most of the teenagers in my local area, whatever their racial background, they all speak that MLE, multicultural London English. I think it's a really great way of erasing sort of classes and racism that everyone's really different. Everyone's from completely different backgrounds. And it's a common voice. Some of those kids are co-switching just like I used to do when I was going down town or whatever in Dicot. You know, obviously it didn't speak loud to my parents.
