The Mind and Life Institute
The Mind and Life Institute was founded by Francisco Varela, one of the co-authors of a book I did called The Embodied Mind. It's formed originally as a way to facilitate and host dialogues between the Dalai Lama and scientists. And it's really through my experience of looking at the Buddhism science dialogue as it evolved that was kind of the more immediate impetus for why I'm not a Buddhist.
