The History of Weaving Machines
In the 1700s, European industrial looms were really big. The design in the fabric is determined by how many threads the weaver goes over or under. Industrial weavers needed to hire little delicate fingers to pull the threads and keep track of them. This technology of bumps and holes is also why you're wearing what you're wearing.
