The Importance of Listening to Your Parents
Hector Sonia says he and a friend were planning pool parties when things started to go downhill. They would stay over friends' houses all night so they could get away from their parents, who thought the boy was on coke. He recalls walking into his mom's kitchen after one of those nights where she asked them why they hadn't called police. "I still almost get like a mini panic attack thinking about it," Hector said.
