The data tells us we have an increased chance of getting in the door with a cover letter. We also see that a decent number of hiring managers and recruiters appreciate cover letters. I personally think that the r o i on your time spent writing a personalize cover letter for these dream companies is worth it. Is it going to take you 30, forty, five, 60 minutes? Probably. But i can also tell you that if this is your dream company, my philosophy is that you do not leave any stone unturned.
