The Risks of Artificial Intelligence

Hugh Price: There's a lot of potential ways that AI could go wrong. One might be that it's used in military technology, so this becomes kind of a new arms race between countries. Another one is that artificial intelligence could very rapidly take many people's jobs and be socially destabilizing. He says we need technical research to figure out how do you design a machine learning system that can notice errors but still achieve its goal.
