Plato's Philosophical Interests
Plato's philosophical interests were extremely broad an they spanned all the sub fields in philosophy that we teach in universities to day. The biggest and most central, enduring air of inturest for him was ethics. Questions about how we ought to live and how we should treat other people also preoccupied him. As a result, scholars have thought his interest in ethics reflected his belief that ethical virtues were these real, determinate properties.
