The Architecture of Deep Learning

Early on, deep learning was not successful. It didn't really break into the popular main stream till maybe five, ten years ago. And there's a certain level of entitlement in the way that geffrey hinton has promoted the am, the deep learning programme. The architecture of deep learning is something like this - put together lots of functions and hook them all up to each other.
