Six Areas Where Design Needs to Expand
The first theme in the book is that traditionally in design or in design thinking and human center design, we really don't have a very strong concept about time. And that's a problem because the challenges we're facing as humanity as a planet when it comes to more sustainable ways of living are long-term challenges. As designers, our field has to look to other disciplines, look to science fiction, look to design fiction,. Look to foresight and scenario work, look into speculative design.
