A song on Spotify needs 1,250 plays to equal one album sale according to Billboard. That's still true. But even if you did the math, I'm not going to listen to one song or any song that many times. Even if I listen to the album once a day for a month and that album has 15 songs on it, it's not going to equal one full album equivalent unit as they say.
