Is There a Bedside Attitude for Analysts?

The ideal is someone who isn't part of the product or marketing or sales or whatever team and feel like that is their tribe. Like as an analyst, your job should be to be a fairly neutral observer to the thing to help people make decisions. I think analysts can go too far with that and can become kind of like smart me jerks about, I have the data and I'm going to tell you exactly what to do. It would be foolish for us to say no, everything has to be centralized if you're not on the team, you're not an analyst.
