Apple Rail: A Game Design Decision
I was prototyping the game very actively for a couple of months. In my mind it was really gonna be just pure scrabble on a board, PVP. The only insight was killing people by connecting to their word and everything else was just gonna be totally pure. So we expanded it to be this slightly larger thing and then all the items that are in there are just every possible thing that could be in there without expanding it again.
