In meditation, one of the key paradoxes is that if you're trying to get into a meditative state, then you're trying too hard. But at the same time, there needs to be some sort of intention There to aim the mind in the right direction. Ty most recent book is called drunk, and it's about why humans use chemical intoxicants. Because essential alcohol to take the most popular chemical intoxicant is going in and directly turning down your prieron cortex a couple of notches. If i say, relax, be yourself, thats t c be helpful. But if i give you a glass of wine, it might help.
