The Evolution of Skeuomorphism

Skeuos means container or tool and morph means shape. It was like originally used to describe material objects, but now we use it to describe digital objects or digital interfaces rather. And I think that's twisted almost over time to mean if it looks like something in the real world which is not quite the same meaning because there's this element of sort of visual richness where you can make a button look more abstract or more realistic.
