The Effects of Thin Film Interference on Vision
The three primary colors can be used to form any of the other colors that we know about. If you combine all your spotlights into one put them all in the same location to converge them it looks white so if you've heard two different lists of primary colors this confused me for a long time they're both correct. thin film interference is basically the colorful fringes and patterns that you see on like oil slicks or oil that's sitting on the surface of water. The color by the way comes from again our old friend dispersion of light different colors of light refract different amounts with at different parts on the on the film.
