Idiotatry Iii

In chapter 57 of isaiah, it says that you burn with lust among the oaks, under every green tree. And so not only would there be idolatry happening there, but also be like lewd conduct or promiscuity, or fornication whend be happening in those places. But then in chapter 58, it talks about this good and false worship, true and false fasting, where people are fast falsely. They are worshipping falsely, and then asking the question, why? Howcome god doesn't hear us? We're fasting. You don't see this. We humbled ourselves. It's having a self-serving motivation to do what we have no intention
