The Importance of Sustainability in Urban Planning

The economics really drive it. For a smaller building, like a six story building, that's when you tend to see, okay, it's almost entirely mass timber. There was some comments around the forestry industry that would have to be in support of this. We get the whole green message, the environmental message and then we end up with this pro-environmental message: use the trees. Never cut down a tree. Don't touch the forests at all but let them cure themselves without being culled. And we're seeing that in the forms of not to lay blame for forest fires or even just kind of laying on top of each other as they burn.
