We tend to think of vision is like taking this picture of the world, but that's not true. It's almost like if you were to look at the world through a straw,. You'd have to move the eye round in the straw, around to see different things. But since where we use our whole retinu most of the time, it's like it's like grabbing the coffee cup with both hands at once.
