How to Measure the Masses of the Neutrinos

The fact that neutrinos can change flavor was a big mystery in particle physics for many decades. Now we understand that's because they're oscillating, changing from electron neutrino to something else. We can also use that to measure the differences in the masses of the neutrinos.
