The Death of Georges Pushkin

After the duel, Georges is arrested and imprisoned because dueling is illegal. He's pardoned by the emperor, but he's banned from living in Russia. Natalia is heartbroken about the murder of her husband. She quickly becomes a villain of his story for the greater Russian public. The nasty gossip about her part in the duel only increases after Pushkin's death.
