The Basil Ganglia, the Limbic System That Helps the Animal Learn From Punishment

The basil ganglia encompasses many of these brain ans that use dopamine and other ner transmitters to learn. The amigdola is really serving up a fear anger, some of the more negative but useful emotions that help mammals learn. When you start doing stimulus response associations over time, what tends to happen is you go from having to think about it as a human,. which is called explicit reasoning or explicit associative systems. It just becomes automatic. And those automatic behaviors then become, by assing in the system, they can actually bias your behavior in ways that you may not be consciously aware of.
