Shakespeare in love, i think, is kind of a miraculous movie. Another great one is the indiana jones - stephen spielberg has said that stopfard wrote every line of dialogue in it. He does love the part of being there during rehearsals and coming up with new things. And he often refers to his life as a charmed life. There are momentous, pivotal moments in his career that, had they not happened, who knows what greer he might have had.
