The Differences Between Non-Linear and Digital Editing
The first entry point for non-linear editing for Ella was lightworks, in fact. It had a paddle, it was so reminiscent of working on a flatbed. I've spent my whole sort of career as an editor with a director. You know, normally it's very unusual at the moment in lockdown not to have somebody four feet to my right. There was certainly the equipment was a little bit more expensive. So you would tend to have the director with you all the time.
