Submission is a word that stirs up so much negativity. It conjures up the idea that maybe God wants us to be weak or less than. I think in today's day and age we hear so many stories of women that are in abusive marriages because of a wrong understanding of submission. We do also have to wrestle with how it's been misused and harmed women.
