Opholeum in the Hebrew Text
Until about the 10th century A-D or CE, Hebrew was written essentially without vowels. Opholeum is one of those words that is not pronounced and appears nowhere in the Bible. The word Tehorem is substituted instead, that is the modern word for hemorrhoids used in polite society. There is however another possibility, based on recently recovered archaeological evidence.
