The Importance of Metaphors

The book is popular because he has this metaphor even though it doesn't really make sense Yeah, a flat world would be a less connected world like I don't want to be too panantic because he is just being cute. But my tolerance for cutesy metaphors declined pretty drastically over the course of the book. He's basically drawing a metaphorical difference between Columbus and himself. It only took like six minutes his pension for over simplifying this shit.
