I think football teams as organizations or as things are more unstable now than they were 20-30s ago in general. The same player's probably going through more clubs, especially you see the CFL level where contracts are very short. So I imagine there's also a big degree of player turnover and just if players are used to things dropping and changing, they may be on or seeking out along with their new manager. They may even consider the concept of playing the team that's the same for three or four seasons because that just doesn't really happen. And this is also the big argument right for why the Super League wasn't one of the many reasons why it was a bad idea. Football fans
