The Shift of View on Autism

In 1994, the American Psychiatric Association introduced another label called Asperger's Syndrome. It was meant to be a subgroup on the autism spectrum, but where people with Asperger’s syndrome had all the characteristics of autism without the delayed language or learning difficulties and disabilities. But in 2013 it was removed from the American Psychiatric Association Classification System.
