How to Be a Better Student With Autism
Autistic students can apply for extra time in an exam, which means you can give all the detail to be properly understood. A lot of autistic students who do quite well in exams because their coping strategies have been well developed over time. Just with the warning, just because a coping strategy worked last year doesn't mean it's working quite as well this year,. You do have to refresh them and not get entrenched. Every year we'll have different challenges pending on the subjects you're doing - long answer, multiple choice, self-care, and social work based examinations. It's important to modify your revision strategies or reflect those differences.
