Diffusion Is Like Taking the Power Out of the Story
Some people are very, very identified with their thinking. And sometimes when I've introduced the idea of diffusion to people, it's been, you know, kind of very hard for them to grapple with like, what do you mean? I'm not my thinking. So recognizing that you can observe your thinking and creating that space or distance, that you are not your thoughts, you're observing your thinking and you can also kind of observe your emotional experience too. You can diffuse from your emotions as well as part of your experience, just like we experience physical sensations.
