WebAssembly Is Great for Very Specific Use Cases

WebAssembly is being used for very specific edge cases, like Google's squish web app. It basically takes an image in one format and transforms it into other formats with a significant reduction in size without significant reduction in quality by using more modern formats or whatnot. The encoder on Coder is using AI. This is not like trying to figure out fractals or anything weird like that. But again, that's just an example of where WebAssembly is great for very specific use cases.
