Tom McEw had been reported missing by his daughter 24 hours after she had seen him leave for a ride in the rural Sussex County mountains. Troopers later found his crash side-by-side and New Jersey state trooper James Thonis and ex-Marine helped track McEw's boot prints until they discovered him unconscious and suffering from hypothermia. Officers rotated laying on McEw to raise his body temperature before carrying him back to their vehicles and rushing him to the hospital. He's now making a full recovery.
