The Concept of the Technium
The concept of the technium is that technology is a living, self-sustaining organism. It has its own evolutionary momentum and we can't stop it from happening. But there are some people who find complex systems exciting because they have potential to produce something bigger than us. I don't see technology as taking over their own mind or having a certain type of ideological framework in order to make rapid innovation more beneficial for society.
