The Importance of Scripts in the Classroom

Teachers can use scripts proactively, but also there will be times in the classroom where maybe a student makes a joke about another student or says something inappropriate. In those instances, it's really helpful if a teacher can kind of have a script or a template that they know is going to be an effective reaction to that context and they can modify it accordingly.
