The TikTok Algorithm Is Playing Me
CNN's John Sutter talks about his new app, TikTok. He says he was going to watch every video all the way through and then just go on to the next one even if he didn't like it. But that would have meant giving an implicit signal: I actually like that video more than most people. "My TikTok has gone down some weird rabbit holes because they'll serve me a very random video," said Sutter.
