Medical professionals have, in particular, among the various types of experts that are sort of trying to make their case for against liberalization of abortion laws. Justice Blackman who wrote Roe vs Wade was actually a lawyer for the Mayo Clinic for many years. He brought a perspective to abortion jurisprudence that essentially said, "Listen to the doctors, listen to the physicians, let medical expertise guide us"
