The Benefits of a Blank Ban on Smartphone Use
The idea that schools should be a preparation ground for the real world. It's not a particularly new idea, but it's interesting in the context of smartphones. Michael Carr-Greg: I sometimes wish that someone would impose a blanket ban on me using my smartphone because as much as I try and use it for good, it doesn't always work out that way. But it does seem to be an advantage to having a blanket ban that comes from the very top.
