The work you present in this manuscript was actually completed some time ago through your KO8 award, which investigated using electronic health records to stratify risk in patients with lupus. My interest in biomedical informatics really came out of necessity when I first started my first faculty position at Vanderbilt National Tennessee. It's one of the world's largest biomedical informatics departments and also robust and unique resources available.
