Mentorship - Mentorship, Mentorship and Mentorship

When you were first starting out, how was your relationship with a mentor or trainer like? How can newer traders maintain some sort of equity in that relationship and keep in contact? I think the biggest thing for people that were in my position is no matter how much I sucked or how slow I was at the time, two big things. It would be a laughable economic decision to fire me. You're just shooting your own P&L on the foot for no reason.
