The captain was sleeping with the wives and daughters of the native villagers. The women took a poison arrowhead and pricked him on the side between the folds of his wepeel, which is a kind of clothing. And he died from that. So you have these brave women. Women are rarely mentioned in the historic record, and ah, here they are, central figures in killing one of the main perpetrators o violence in the area. It's just phenomenal.
