Therapy and Buddhism - What's the Difference?
Buddhism is about establishing a quality of relationship with anything, you know, whether it be an idea or a concept but also just any kind of text really. Therapy in its broadest way tends to be concerned with aiding an individual manage their relationship with themselves and the world. In Buddhism, the clear, outstanding goal is this awakening to non dual, the non dual basis of our dualistic confusion. The notion that you could ever get out of conditioned reality is beyond psychology, it doesn't go there.
