Astro is great for specific use cases, but if you want to build your website or web app as a single page application then Islands of Hydration isn't really appropriate. Astro explicitly positions themselves as being primarily for content-type websites. And again, and also if we look at some of the new innovations coming out of the Chrome team to enable transitions between pages in a multi-page application, maybe we'll get to a point where you don't really need single page applications.
