Huxley's grandfather, thomas huxley, was a sceptical scientist. He coined the word agnosticism to try an er an calculate his beliefs or lack of them. And i think that there's something inherently mystic and beautiful and religious about not knowing. So balancing those moments of nosis and enting are beautiful and onder l an Agnosticism as well. Like not holding too lightly, it too heavily. Tolerating ambiguity, which was what you were talking about, not having to be binery. Am and am, tolerating uncertainty. The challenge for californian spirituality at the moment is all codes and engineers now who have no tolerance
