Chendral and Customs on Choruscant

i'm interested in that part of it because obviously vel's vel was like repelled seeing this and very alarmed. We know that vel and later have a real fondness for each other so there was like a sadness at play here i think especially when we heard mon say that to vel that it was even stronger than before. The return to this custom was even stronger here on choruscant then back home with the jingoistic nationalistic pride. Even inside of your own family people who know that this is wrong or fear it like can't reach you or tell you  that is the antithesis in so many ways to the way chendral works.
