How to Start a New Teacher Role

Some teachers burn out very early doors because they lean on the system too much, says Emma. As a brand new member of staff into the profession it will take your time to get that those routines and systems habitual for you she adds. You need to spend time thinking about the dynamic of the room how the room is laid out according to her advice. Have you sat in every seat within the room can the pupils see the boards when you're giving an explanation? If their vantage points are such that they're facing backwards when you're at the front  it's interesting to have a problem with kids craning their necks or actually just not even bother looking at you so there's that side.
