When Xi Jinping came to power there was some hope he would be a little bit different. He launched this anti-corruption campaign to try to clean up all these crazy excesses. But then over time it started to become clear that this was much more than just an irregular anti-corruption crackdown. And so what we wanted to show was how this really changed over ten years and tried to segment it in a way to have these themes to understand what had happened.
