Is There a Star in the Universe?

In theory, if you engineered the universe to be a perfect star making laboratory, then yet, you could eventually burn all the fuel. But i don't think that's likely to actually happen in our universe. We're just decreasing the amount of hydrogen in the universe as years go by. There could be aliens ten billion years from now that are eating their cereal and thinking, ho this could have been another star billions of years ago.
