The Jungian Idea of Archetype in Jungian Psychology

The idea of an archetype came from Plato, who called them forms or ideas. Jung picked up on this many centuries later and called them archetypes. And the idea is that they relate to the essence of something. So let's take rather than a character, let's take an idea, because an idea can be an archetype as well. We all recognize the essence of these characters or these ideas.
